About us
Star Andalusians was founded in 1995 with the Fermin Borohquez stallion Lengueto V and the superb award winning movement mare called Amaranta VII.

Our aim is and always has been to breed Andalusians now known as PRE or Pura Raza Espanol, that are suitable for a variety of disciplines, including dressage, driving, jumping and all round family horses.
We pride ourselves on breeding these amazing multifunctional horses whilst retaining the beauty and nobility of this ancient and historic breed.

We are also taking a keen interest in the rare and unusual colours that have now been reintroduced back into the breed after many years of being disallowed. These colours can only enhance this magnificent breed.
We always carefully select our mares for their temperament, movements, type and bloodlines and we feel that the mare is just as important as the stallion when producing offspring.

The stud has an active Facebook page, which is usually filled with news and updates on offspring, horses for sale and any new imports.

Star Andalusians is one of the oldest surviving ACTIVE PRE studs in the UK. Our breeder code was issued in Madrid on January 9th 1995

We try and back all our mares at some point in their life and some have competed in various disciplines with success. Spanish PRE mares make wonderful riding horses and nearly all our fillies that have gone to new homes, have become riding horses. We are extremely proud of all our homebreds and try to keep in touch with each and every one.
